Breakfast. Lunch. Opportunity.™
The Bloom Café serves a fresh take on casual dining while helping people with disabilities grow their independence through a unique job training program.
The café is open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. With online ordering and curbside service, we can cater to your busy schedule.
Our featured meeting space, The Garden Room, is a great spot for your next business meeting or private party.
Need to connect to WiFi and get some work done? We’ve got that covered, too.
And from spring to fall, you can enjoy the view of our garden, expertly tended by Master Gardeners trained by the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
The Bloom Café is a social enterprise of Paraquad, The Disability Experts, designed to help people with disabilities prepare for employment. The program has three stages:
- Training Program: Students complete a 12-week, skills-based curriculum where they study topics, such as food handling and preparation, and learn soft skills, such as customer service and workplace etiquette.
- Paid Internship: Students progress to a short-term paid internship in the Bloom Café and other restaurants to build skills and experience.
- Job Placement: When interns are job-ready, Paraquad assists them in finding and maintaining jobs in the community.
Paraquad believes that everyone should be able to live and work independently. At The Bloom Café, we help make that possible. Students in our program take the first steps in building a career.
Thank you for your interest in The Bloom Café. We look forward to seeing you soon!
